Hyde Park Suites are a multi-national hotel chain with accommodation ranging from 50 room hotels in Morocco to pent house suites in London. As you can imagine management of access to the individual rooms becomes very costly and time consuming utilising traditional Mortise locks. Having realised it was costing substantial amounts of money each year to replace locks and lost keys they decided to install TLJ’s latest range of contactless card locks. Following a successful 6 month trial they have now instructed TLJ to roll out installation on all existing hotels within their portfolio.

MJB Hotels have a number of hotels throughout the UK, however they are not like your ordinary hotel chain as all bookings and reservations are made via the internet or by telephone. At one time this meant that there was a dedicated employee that would meet the guest at different hotels to hand over the different keys for each room. For obvious reasons this became very costly and time consuming. Now TLJ have installed electronic keypad locks on all their hotel room doors which means that when a guest books online or over the phone they are then given their unique entry code for access into their hotel room which is then changed by the cleaner when that particular guest has left.

My UK Office offers fully furnished and serviced offices, with security being of paramount importance. This meant that managing access via traditional methods of key entry for each individual room became very difficult. Tenants were constantly losing keys costing substantial amounts in key and lock replacements and obviously the security of the offices were also at risk. Now with fingerprint locks installed at all their offices this problem no longer exists, as it is no longer possible to lose or forget keys. The fingerprint locks have solved their access control problem and proved extremely cost affective.

Lilliput Lodge Day Nursery is a purpose designed OFSTED rated (Good) child day care centre located within East Yorkshire. The welfare and security of the hundreds of children going through their doors being their main priority. That’s why when Lilliput Lodge upgraded their security they went for a wired Biometric Fingerprint terminal with the capability of holding thousands of fingerprints to control access for all parents, guardians and staff in and out of the building. Each child has 2 guardians registered onto the system making it simple for them to use but also impossible for anyone unauthorised to gain access. With an additional video intercom running alongside the terminal they can manually allow temporary access to those who are not registered into the system.
